A deal maker in Tokyo found that it was ‘pipped’ on emerging deals once too often and suspected that “Loose Lips Sink Ships” but on confronting a particularly loose talking deal maker, the possibility that the information leaked, not from lips, but via planted listening devices was cited in his defense. A TSCM sweep conducted in the early hours found no listening devices anywhere on the premises or on the telephones.
